Giving to AHS

The College of Applied Health Sciences accepts gifts in a variety of forms so that prospective donors may choose the types of gifts that they perceive to be the most efficient, personally satisfying, and financially advantageous for both themselves and the College. The impact of private giving is significant. Less than one-third of our budget is provided by the State, with the remainder supported by private funding. With your support, the College can provide scholarships to deserving students and make improvements to the facilities they use. Your gift, when combined with those of other alumni and friends, is having a significant impact on how we educate our next generation of students.

Giving Opportunities

Several methods are available for you to support Applied Health Sciences and make a lasting impact on our students. Those methods include annual giving, endowments, and several specific opportunities to leave your legacy with the College (including scholarships, facilities, programs, and endowed professorships).

Types of Giving

The College accepts gifts in a variety of forms so that prospective donors may choose the types of gifts that they perceive to be the most efficient, personally satisfying, and financially advantageous for both themselves and the College. The types of gifts available can be categorized as current gifts and deferred gifts.

Recognition Societies

Gifts of any amount are welcome and appreciated. We are also especially grateful for the generous gifts from those friends of the College who participate in the Dean's Club.

Dean's Club

The Dean's Club is reserved for those who make an annual financial commitment of at least $100 to the College of Applied Health Sciences. Your gift to the Annual Fund promotes a crucial margin of excellence for the College. In a typical year, our Annual Fund provides the College with the flexibility to invest in programs and activities critical to the success of our students and faculty.

Giving levels based on personal contributions plus any corporate matching funds are:

  • Gold Chapter – $1,000 or more
  • Silver Chapter – $500-$999
  • Bronze Chapter – $100-$499

Donors of $25,000 or more are also eligible for membership in the University of Illinois Foundation's Presidents Council. This icon indicates this link takes you off the Alumni site.
