Program Overview
Students in the College of Applied Health Sciences learn about the latest innovations in disease prevention, human communications and health maintenance from the Departments of Kinesiology and Community Health, Recreation, Sport and Tourism, or Speech and Hearing Science. The Division of Disability Resources and Educational Services provides academic and nonacademic services for students with disabilities.
Occupational Outlook Handbook profiles College of Applied Health Sciences-related careers as “growing faster or much faster than average.” Pre-professional programs include medicine, physical therapy, and occupational therapy, and combined with practical experience through international research and internship opportunities, make College of Applied Health Sciences graduates in high demand.
